Brucedale Cottage

Dating back to 1800 ours is the oldest family business in Australia. Seven generations of the Suttor family have lived and worked on this property.

Located in the Peel district, 15 minutes drive north of Bathurst on the Sofala Road, our 2800 acre property straddles Clear Creek and the Winburndale Rivulet. With its gently undulating landscape Brucedale is a very picturesque property.

Ideal for country walks, picnics, fishing or just relaxing and soaking up the beauty of the area.

Historic tours of the farm are available on request.

And if you’re in Bathurst in March you might like to consider coming along to the annual Brucedale Twilight Concert in the garden!

Bathurst is the oldest inland city in Australia (population 37,000) and there are many scenic drives to nearby villages such as O’Connell, Sofala, Hill End, Millthorpe, and Carcoar.
